Giveaway Event. Contest will begin on June 11, 2024 and end on June 21, 2024 at 11:59pm Pacific Time.

How to Participate. To participate, you must submit the required information using the form link above.

Eligibility and Limitations. No purchase necessary to enter or win. Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older. Void where prohibited. Limit of one entry per person. Employees of nextNYC and Sydecar, Inc. (“Sydecar”, collectively with nextNYC the “Sponsors”), and members of the immediate family of any such persons are not eligible to participate and win. The term “immediate family” includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as “in-laws,” or by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s), adoption, cohabitation or other family extension, and any other persons residing at the same household whether or not related.

Entries. Only entries submitted at the website designated by the Sponsors may be used to enter the contest. Winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received.

Tax. Any valuation of the prize(s) stated above is based on information available to nextNYC, and the value of any prize awarded to a winner may be reported for tax purposes as required by law. Each winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable taxes related to the prize(s) and paying any expenses associated with any prize which is not specifically provided for in the official rules. Each winner must provide nextNYC with valid identification and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number before any prize will be awarded. The winner of the contest will receive an IRS form 1099 at the end of the calendar year from nextNYC and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS.

Prize. The prize(s) that may be awarded to the eligible winner(s) are not transferable, redeemable for cash or exchangeable for any other prize. Participants must provide valid and accurate contact information. If a winner cannot be contacted or is disqualified for any reason, the Sponsors reserve the right to determine an alternate winner or not to award that winner’s prize, in their sole discretion.

Publicity; Use of Personal Information. By participating, where allowed by law, all participants and winner(s) grant each Sponsor exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices, videotape, and likenesses in connection with promotion of this and other contests and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such use. By participating in the contest, where allowed by law, participants agree that the Sponsors may disclose personal information obtained from participants in the contest to third parties and use such information for marketing and other purposes.

Release. By participating in the contest, each participant and winner waives any and all claims of liability against each Sponsor and their employees and agents, for any personal injury or loss which may occur from the conduct of, or participation in, the contest, or from the use of any prize.

Miscellaneous. Odds of winning depend upon the number of participants. Sponsors may substitute prizes, amend the rules or discontinue the contest at any time in their sole discretion. Sponsors disclaim any responsibility to notify participants of any aspect related to the conduct of the contest. All entries become the property of Sponsors, and will not be returned. Compliance with Law. The giveaway is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware without conflict of law doctrines. As a condition of participating in the giveaway, to the fullest extent allowed by law, participant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, causes of action or controversies arising out of or in connection with the giveaway, shall be resolved in arbitration individually and without resort to collective, class, or aggregate action. By registering and/or submitting an entry, each participant irrevocably waives, to the greatest extent allowed by law, any right to seek and/or obtain rescission and/or equitable and/or injunctive relief. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, other than participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering the giveaway), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
